Caroline Watson

Caroline Watson is a multi-disciplinary artist based out of Los Angeles, California. She is inspired by the environment around her. She works intuitively to explore color, movement, form, and overlapping elements. The sense of depth and movement is produced in the process of layering and instinctually pouring and pushing the paint across the canvas.

Influenced by architectural design, she incorporates everyday materials such as concrete and plaster giving her work its unique sense of dimension. Caroline uses a variety of mediums to create bold textures to communicate energy and emotions. Deeply inspired by the female form, she explores the richness of femininity in each of her figurative paintings.
