"I own a luxury interior design firm in Toronto called Stacey Cohen Design as well as an online design platform called Room Edit. I think there are many things that separate me as a designer from others.
I don’t have a signature style, as a firm we really try to understand our clients vision and how they want their home and try to bring that vision to life with our expertise. My online design service Room Edit makes interior design accessible to all.
I have an appreciation for the fact that buying furniture is a huge investment regardless of your budget and Room Edit gives people the confidence of knowing that they are buying pieces at the right sizes and proportions for their room with a cohesive palette in mind."
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE DESIGN PROCESS?
"I love space planning for my clients and showing different and interesting ways to use the space and maximize it. I also love choosing all of the finishes, materials and fabrics."

"I have never followed trends when it comes to design as I try to create spaces that will take people through time."
DO YOU HAVE AN APPROACHABLE DESIGN TIP THAT CONSUMERS CAN IMPLEMENT IN THEIR HOMES?
"I always recommend people to tackle one room at a time rather than doing piecemeal things all over the house. Its best to have one or two rooms that you love rather than one or two things in several rooms as don’t get the same impact. I always always recommend peope to start with a floorplan, having the right size furniture for your space is key to the success of the outcome."
