Chango & Co. is a Brooklyn-based interior design studio founded by creative director Susana Simonpietri. Launched in 2009, Chango & Co.’s name is inspired by the feisty blackbirds and national mascot of Simonpietri’s home island, Puerto Rico. Described as easy-going, clean and welcoming, Chango & Co. strives to ensure that each home the firm works on is unique with influences pulled from its location.
Known for utilizing a neutral color palette, Chango & Co.’s designs often feature shades of white and creams, soft textures and architectural edges and romantic, yet minimalist design touches.
Inspired by the beautiful beaches of her home, Simonpietri has always found a sense of calm and comfort within the coastal setting, which is reflected in her own home and in the homes of her clients. The studio specializes in residential projects on the East Coast in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Upstate New York, The Hamptons, Connecticut and Miami as well as the West Coast in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
