Sonia Pueche and Jaime Mato, a photographer and chef from Madrid, began their journey into artisanal craftsmanship in 2016 with a shared passion for clay. Over the next three years, they developed their skills through formal training and self-guided experimentation in their Madrid workshop, immersing themselves in the art of handmade creation. In 2019, they relocated to the Sierra de Madrid forest, where new opportunities arose, including collaborations with interior designers, renowned brands, and private clients.

Their work gained widespread recognition in 2020 when AD magazine named them among Spain's top artisans in its "Best of España" selection. That same year, they launched their online store, reaching an international audience, and contributed to Lorna de Santos' award-winning Casa Decor space. In 2022, their achievements were further celebrated with inclusion in the Michelangelo Foundation’s Homo Faber Guide, and they expanded their creative capacity by moving their workshop to Ávila. Here, they undertook projects like crafting tableware for BARRO, a Michelin-starred restaurant.

In 2024, Sonia and Jaime continue to grow, with their work reaching new markets, including a gallery partnership in Taiwan. Staying true to their philosophy of creating with heart and intention, they infuse each piece with passion, inviting others to experience the joy and connection that define época.
