Designed by Carl Auböck
Auböck studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he met some of the best in modern design: Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Ray and Charles Eames. These designers inspired Auböck to integrate American trends and an international, modern perspective into the products designed at his father's workshop. Carl Auböck has become a defining figure in Austrian modernism.
A family business passed down through generations, the production today is run by Carl Auböck IV, and is located in the original Viennese townhouse where it continues to produce both classic and contemporary design.
